Traveled from London specifically to surf with Zach after reading his reviews online. Every word was true — exceptional experience, exceptional instructor. Worth the flight just for this.

Surfing was on my bucket list for 30 years. Zach helped me check it off in style. At 52, I stood up on my very first wave. I actually cried. Thank you, Zach. You made a dream come true.

Zach is tall, handsome, and absurdly talented. But more importantly, he's a gifted teacher — calm under pressure, encouraging, and totally in his element. Loved every minute from New York.

Came from Berlin for a conference and snuck in a morning surf lesson with Zach. Best decision of the whole trip. He specializes in the Santa Monica north through Malibu stretch and it shows — picked exactly the right conditions for our skill level.

Third lesson with Zach and each one has been better than the last. He tracks your progress between sessions and builds on it. A real coach in every sense of the word. Cannot recommend enough.

The lesson itself was enjoyable and Zach is clearly skilled. Knocked off two stars because the waves were too unpredictable that day — a lot of waiting around and not much riding. Not really his fault, but still a frustrating morning.
